Day Two
Day Two
Well l made it to Mumbia Airport India ready for my connecting flight to Kathmandu Airport Nepal, l\’m worn out have not slept since 4am Saturday.
Wont be arriving at hotel untill late tonight.
Well im here in Kathmandu Airport Nepal.
Its all worth it for the money that has been donated by so many of you for such a great cause.
So far you have all raised £8,284.00 of my £5,380 target which is more than l could of hoped for.
My Adventure Begins
Day One.
My first day of my Everest Trek is here it seems to have come around so fast l’m glad l have put in the time for all of my training, so now bring it on.
l am still collecting donations for Cystic Fibrosis Trust so if you can spare a few pounds anything would be gratefully excepted.
I made my way up this morning to the airport with Jason Blackman, here is a message he has sent me.
l am feeling excited, nervous but most of all incredibly proud of one of the best friends I could ever wish to have today as the day he has been waiting for finally arrives… good luck mate on your adventure of a lifetime and thank you for everything you’ve done for me over the last few years – at times you’ve seen me laugh, cry, be happy, be miserable, but however I’ve been you (and Kate) have always been there for me… enjoy what promises to be an amazing few weeks. I am so, so proud of you and all that you have achieved, and continue to achieve…
Thankyou for this Jason means alot.
First stop Heathrow Airport where l meet up with a few other fellow Everest Trekers that are on the same Trek as myself.
These guys are have been so helpfull in keeping me motivated and helped with my training also with the helpfull tips and advice.
