Brett of Powells sports therapy has offered his services free of charge to help me reach my goal for 2018 also to help with raising well deserved fund for Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Powells Sports Therapy is owned and run by Brett Powell who is level 3 qualified in Sports Massage Therapy and has offered his services free of charge for the duration of my training.
We will be starting with one session a week on my legs up to my
first challenge Bath Half Marathon .
Once l have run the Bath Half Marathon then we will be stepping it up to twice a week nearer the London Marathon .
Once the London Marathon was all done we will be concentrating on a change of technique towards trekking as this is a completely different discipline.
About Powells Sports Therapy
My name is Brett Powell and I am level 3 qualified in Sports MASSAGE Therapy, and am currently studying to obtain my level 4.
I have been involved in football the last 6 years, going from looking after a Sunday league side, to being Peacehaven & Telscombe FC Fitness and Rehabilitation coach.
It is here where I also obtained my First Aid and Basic injury qualification, my enhanced criminal record check as well as taking part in a Mental health in sport certificate.
I am also fully insured as a therapist, as well as being covered to treat injuries as a trainee/student.
I am a member of the Sports Massage Association
